Cause and Effect

The 6 things we can do when feeling frustrated about a lack of control in any given situation!

  1. Acknowledge that everything is perfect and happening just as it should. Be grateful that things look how they look.  The Universal Law of Appreciation says “What you appreciate will grow and become more pronounced”.  The more you appreciate something the less your focus is on what’s wrong.  (Doesn’t matter if you are waiting on a biz deal to come in, or waiting to see if your partner is going to leave you or vice-versa or if you are going to meet your soul mate). The answer is the same.
  1. Let go and trust that while you may be uncomfortable with this process that quite possibly someone else is going to see something that you missed in your project /situation that will make it better. Trust that whoever is holding onto it at this time is injecting the same care and love into your project that you are. Universal law of Cause and Effect.  (What kind of energy have you been putting into this situation? Are you being negative and controlling? Doubtful and fearful? Then you need to let go and start to trust that things will get better and start making proactive steps to do that).
  1. Self-examination:  What are you afraid of?  Look and see if you aren’t blocking the path by being over-bearing, controlling, critical, impatient or demanding. Make sure that you care coming from a space of unity and creativity, a “greater good mentality” and The Law of Abundance. You’re outcome is directed by your focus.  (Again doesn’t matter what type of relationship situation we are talking about). Then do something about what you discovering about yourself. Take action.  If you notice you’re impatient, then resist picking up the phone or sending an email…work on trusting the situation.
  1. Keep moving. Don’t stop what you are doing, just because you are waiting on a piece of information or someone to say yes to you or your idea. Plan your strategic next steps by asking yourself two questions. If they say no – what is my next step? If they say yes, what is my next step?  Then begin to implement what needs to be done for the yes and for the no.  (Sometimes there IS nothing to do).  At least by asking the questions and getting an answer it’ll feel empowering. You’ll also be more prepared if they come back with a yes – you’ll be ready.  You can also put in a mental date as to when you will follow up. Then stick to that date – don’t deviate or hound people – it becomes an energy drain for them and for you. Universal Law of Cause and Effect.
  1. What if they really are ripping you off – stealing your ideas or moving forward without you? It happens all the time. What then?  If you feel that you may be being treated poorly – confide in an outside source. Someone you trust. This person can be a business mentor, a good friend, someone in your company that knows the situation, but not someone intimately involved is best, or a psychologist, life coach, or great intuitive/psychic. They’ll be able to put things in perspective for you and help you deal with your anxiety. They’ll be able to help you determine the difference between over-reacting, irrational thinking, or creating chaos where there is none. Then this is the hardest part – take that outside sources opinion and run with it. Do what they suggest. I can’t tell you how many times people will call me and then I’ll give them the information/suggestion and they do the opposite – call me back and tell me they should have listened to me. I’m guilty of doing this as well. We just are reacting out of fear.   Universal Law of Attraction: (here you have to apply trust – not blind trust.  But trust that you will take the right steps and decisions at the right time. That if there is something wrong that you’ll get the information somehow – somewhere.
  1. Work on yourself. Constantly. Be willing to do what is hard. To accept responsibility – always!  It’s tough being the more evolved person in a relationship, but once you are committed to that you’ll may be surprised that the other person gets pulled up to your level instead of you being pulled down to theirs.  It’s a balance.  Nothing stays the same. Change is eminent.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)
New beginnings and unexpected possibilities show up this week; anything from an opportunity to move your home or office to a less expensive location to someone looking to hire you away from your current position. Backroom negotiations and momentum shifts are likely to be in your favor. You may choose to focus on your nutrition, diet and exercise this week in a new way: without the pressure while still guaranteeing long-term success. Automobile repairs may be done; buying and selling may be presented as an option. Financially, you may catch an error with an unexpected bill, leaving you with less than what you thought or owing more than you would like for the moment. No worries,
since there are too many positive things happening for it matter. Romantically, coupled Caps may feel disconnected later in the week, when you are heading in one direction and your partner another. It’s temporary, and things are likely to heat up much faster between the two of you. Single Caps are having fun and enjoy being in the spotlight. Someone new notices your charms, or things move to a new level with someone familiar. Celebrate your new-found sensuality!

The Week for Capricorns

Week of December 27, 2010

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)
It’s time to follow through with ideas and not take no for an answer. Dig deep and don’t feel remorse for not acting sooner. You can begin implementing action steps to make your dreams come true after December 30, when Mercury retrograde ends. This is a perfect time for new beginnings. The recent full moon eclipse on the 21st may have given you a jump-start by clearing your plate of burdensome responsibilities or deals that may have fallen to the wayside. You can start to trust the information you receive later this week as authentic and viable. Let go of self-sabotaging ways and stop being so hard on yourself. Romantically, coupled Caps are hungry for honesty and a one-for-all-all-for-one mentality; you can get there with a little patience and fortitude. Single Caps may be concerned about what’s next for them. Let go of the struggle and just have fun; the right partner will show up when you’re busy living life and no longer looking. If you’ve just snagged “the one,” new developments showing you the strength of the relationship will be revealed in the short weeks ahead. Celebrate being on top of things!

November 29, 2010

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

This cycle of rejuvenation helps you see what needs to be done. Let go of past expectations to capitalize on opportunities currently being presented. Others see you as thoughtful, kind, and provocative. You may be asked to assist with details that are outside your normal scope of business. A jealous individual may apologize for past behaviors to win favor with you again. Things may feel financially tight; however, your prospects for the future get brighter this week. Romantically, Sags feel less anxious and more in control of their relationships. While single Sags are flying high with friendships, a new relationship intensifies. Celebrate your good fortune.

Week of November 15, 2010

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

You’ll be happy to hear that the air is beginning to clear, and you’ll gain perspective and insight this week that was previously unseen. Prominent new beginnings will be presented in the later part of the week. This may include letting go of past endeavors that no longer serve you or restructuring a situation to your advantage. A friend reaches out to give you much-needed guidance and support during problems with communication. Friday is the best day to negotiate, sign contracts, make announcements, or move forward with new ideas or the start of a new project. Prior to this, you didn’t have the full support of the universe and would have jeopardized your current standing. Two planets, Jupiter and Venus, move forward on November 18 th, and you’ll finally feel as if you are free to move into what is next. Romantically, you’ll feel less anxious or frustrated with your partner and will move into a deeper feeling of connection and gratitude. If you’re a single Sag, you’ll rely heavily on friends and may meet someone new over the weekend who could be perfect for you! Celebrate your ability to trust yourself and remain in the moment.

When you are uncertain about something, what are 4 things you can do to create certainty?

1. Let go – stop trying to control or anticipate every move.  Have patience and trust that what you are seeing with your physical eyes isn’t everything that is going on.  Become the observer in your own life.

2. Focus on the things you want to have happen, not the things you don’t want to have happen.  (Too many times people focus on the negative, and of course, that is what the universe gives them, because that’s where they’re thoughts are going – so it’s the overriding energy and the law of attraction gives them what they are focused on).

3. Pay attention to the serendipitous events that start to occur as soon as you let go and step out of your life.  Then follow them – take action! When you begin to pay attention the right people start to show up, opportunities appear, things begin to happen.  It’s uncomfortable – it’s supposed to be!  That’s how you know you’ve let go.

4. Keep repeating this process, and with each serendipitous event you create more certainty within yourself that things will get better.  Those things are moving you in the right direction.

Key point:  It’s important to minimize your interaction with people who don’t believe in you or what you are trying to accomplish, unless you are one of those people who utilize that energy to drive yourself to succeed.

The  following is information that I channeled for last weeks’ radio show on the subject of Certainty.

“Certainty is an energy that will help to sustain you. It will allow you to rise above the challenges and the disappointments. It allows you to bridge the gap of communication from the unknown to the known. By having certainty as your constant companion you’ll be able to ride the waves of uncertain times. This action of having certainty will create a friction. Within this friction an electrical bond occurs, and within this electrical bond are all the particles and connections that one needs to sustain oneself. You call it the point of origin.  When you are connected to this place you are connecting to the certainty that everything has a plan, a motion, a time and set point when it will be delivered, how it will look, etc. Your job in times of uncertainty or doubt is to push those emotions away by remaining connected to your certainty that everything is perfect in the moment, and will work out.

This creates a bridge through the uncertainty and will build a stronger connection within you. This also allows for new communication to come into the mind-body so that you’ll be able to see more clearly what is off with your current equation so that you may switch gears or make the necessary changes to forward your cause, thus altering your current situation with your new-found awareness you can make the changes necessary to have a different outcome – thereby bringing you to the new clarity you were seeking.”

Look for information on how to create certainty in my next post.
